| By default, version 7.1 comes with 12vCPU with 3 transcoding queues available. If only 2 transcoding queues are needed, this VM can run with 8vCPU.
If this VM is co-resident with other Collaboration VMs on same physical server, then the VM requires 12vCPU (or 8vCPU) and use standard sizing rules of 1vCPU to 1 physical CPU core. If not then this VM may leverage ESXi hyperthreading for non-standard sizing of 1vCPU to 1 ESXi Logical Core (half the physical CPU cores).

| This VM configuration is only supported on Generation 2 Appliance Hardware (non-UCS-based).
Only VMware vSphere ESXi 5.1 is supported with this VM.
Hyper-threading must be enabled in the hardware, as TCS is using Logical Cores / physical CPU oversubscription.
Note: The install guide references logical cores to convey the virtual machine requirements, e.g. for Gen2 Appliance Parity VM, TCS Install Guide lists 8 Logical Cores.
