Average: The average of a network characteristics (DL, UL, and Latency) displayed is the sum of all individual network characteristics divided by the total number of speed test records in that country. The regional average is a weighted average—taking into account the network characteristics and the broadband penetration of countries within the region.
Median: The DL, UL, and Latency measured in a country, where half the numbers are lower and half the numbers are higher. The regional median is a weighted median—taking into account the network characteristics and the broadband penetration of countries within the region.
