The Internet has changed the way people learn, work, and play, and the Cisco Networking Academy Program has been in the forefront of this transformation for the last 10 years. Launched in 1997, the Networking Academy Program has partnered with educators and others to develop the tools, applications, technology and curriculum to make the Internet and education the great equalizers in the global economy.

 

 

The success of the Academy program lies in the dynamic impact it has on a country's economy and the vision it offers to educational institutions and individuals. It has transformed people's everyday lives, added a new dimension to their career options and provided exciting new directions for leading institutions.

 

Here’s a look at the 26 countries (more than 1,200 academies) that have joined us over the past years.

 

 

Over the next 18 months the Cisco Networking Academy Program will celebrate its tremendous success globally. Highlights of the global celebrations include an online technology skills tournament for students and a recognition program for instructors. 

 

In Asia Pacific, the 10 year celebrations are dedicated to building the future of our program whilst providing our students, alumni and instructors with opportunities and experiences within the IT industry and Networking profession.
