IT Essentials II: Network Operating Systems, is an intensive introduction to networking fundamentals
and multi-user/multi-tasking network operating systems. Characteristics
of the Linux, Windows 2000, NT, and XP network operating systems will be
discussed.
The Course has been designed for 70 hours which includes hands-on
labs which utilize the Windows 2000 and Linux network operating systems.
Students will explore a variety of topics including installation and configuration
procedures. More advanced administrative tasks such as troubleshooting issues,
security issues, and remote access will also be covered. Students who successfully
complete this portion of the Program are eligible to earn CompTIA Linux+
exam.
