My Colleagues Tool Granular General Information

Cisco Systems developed My Colleagues Tool Granular (MCTG) so that Cisco Customers and Partners can manage which of their service contract numbers are present in Cisco.com (CPR/CCO) user profiles. The contract numbers determine which Cisco services users are allowed to obtain (e.g., technical/TAC support, RMAs/hardware replacement).

What You Can Manage with My Colleagues Tool Granular

Using the tool, Customer or Partner Administrators can:

  • Grant users support access by adding administered contract numbers to Cisco.com user profiles
  • Prevent users from obtaining support by removing administered contract numbers from Cisco.com user profiles
  • Block users from re-adding administered contract numbers to their profiles after they have been removed by Cisco or another MCTG Administrator
  • Unblock users so contract numbers can be added to their Cisco.com profiles, if appropriate
  • Lock a contract number so that only an MCTG Administrator for that contract can add it to a user (Cisco cannot)
  • Unlock a contract number so Cisco can add it to Cisco.com profiles
  • Email a user directly from the tool
  • Export all administered contract numbers, all users for a specific contract number, or all blocked users for a specific contract number to an Excel file

Up to 500 contract numbers can be managed using this tool. If you want to manage access to support, but have more than 500 contract numbers, you should consider using My Colleagues Tool Aggregate instead. More information on this other tool can be found under Find Answers at the Service Support Center.
